COACHING BEFORE MC


- Spent one year as a student assistant (2004) at Mississippi State, helping lead the Bulldogs to the SEC Tournament and an NCAA Regional.

- Spent two seasons as head coach at Pass Christian High School, taking over a team that was 2-20 in the previous season.

- PCHS went 15-10 in 2006 and had two players earnd all-conference honors.


PLAYING CAREER


- Four-year starter at Mississippi State University, earning SEC All-Academic honors all four years.

- Part of winningest class in MSU history, reaching SEC Tournament all four years.

- MSU reached NCAA Regional in 3-of-4 seasons.


PERSONAL


- Married to Tony O'Hair

- Two Children: Sydney and Cooper

- Earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Mississippi State in 2004.

Leigh Streetman

Leigh Streetman was named the assistant softball coach at Mississippi College on July 26, 2017. She will enter her fourth year with the program going into the 2020-21 academic year.


The Lady Choctaws qualified for the Gulf South Conference Tournament in her first three seasons, including advancing to the South Region Championship in Melbourne, Fla. in 2019.


Cori Cooper was named GSC Pitcher of the Year in 2019 and earned All-Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association. Cooper also earned Second Team All-GSC laurels in 2018. In 2019, freshman Hannah Creel was also a First Team All-GSC selection as the Lady Choctaws set a school record with 40 wins and posted a 2.11 earned run average with a school record 333 combined strikeouts.


Pronounced "LEE-uh", Streetman was a four-year starting pitcher (2011-14) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she holds school career records for appearances (144), saves (13) and batting average against (.209), while also sharing the school record with 58 career victories. Her 2.18 career ERA ranks in the top five in school history.


The Hueytown, Ala. native also holds single-season records for ERA (1.34 in 2011) and saves (7 in 2011) and has the program's top two marks in batting average against (.190 in 2013, .192 in 2011).


Following her playing career, Streetman spent two seasons as a volunteer pitching coach, helping lead the Blazers to five straight trips to the NCAA Tournament. She then spent last season at Southern Union Community College as a volunteer.
