USFA Texas State Tournament Update & Event Information: Updated 6/15 4:30pm
Coaches, thank you’ll for registering your teams for the USFA Texas State Tournament. We are excited to be able to host your groups. This event does have a number of odd nuances to it this year that is going to make it critical that we over communicate. The “Who’s Playing List” is set, and will have begun the process of scheduling the event which will take the next 24 hours at least. Scheduling an event of this size in this tight a time frame window with the insane amount of special requests/factors is extremely difficult. We ask that if you have any questions over the next 24 hours that you email them directly to
Our staff is also watching very closely the situation happening around town with regards to the virus. Our event is green light go, but of course that can change at any time by Governor Abbott. Having our first USFA event back being the safest possible is important to us. All the measures we can put in place will not make it 100% tight, but will surely make the environment safer easing the stress on our families. It’s going to take the entire softball community participating to help create a “more safe environment” this weekend. Below is a download of communication on housekeeping items and added safety measures that hopefully will prepare your teams to play this weekend.
        Park Location by Divisions:
8u, 12u Open, 14u will be at Cy-Fair Dyess Park with games beginning Friday at 2pm
10u Open, C-Class, & All Star/Rec will be playing at Katy with pool games starting Friday around 4pm
        12u C-Class & 12u All-Star will be playing at Spring Klein-Collins Park with games starting Saturday 8am
*Note- we made the tough decision to keep 12u as “Open” versus splitting up the A/B. There has been a tremendous amount of player/team movement due to the shutdown and classifications are all over the board with the lack of play. Due to these concerns we felt it was best to leave it Open versus splitting.
*Download the USFA Mobile App: All schedules, brackets, scores, & weather updates will be there
*Pool Schedule Release is Wednesday 10am, but we hope to make it live prior to that if completed
